A Seed

一粒种子

Once upon a time, there was a seed.

从前有一粒种子。

Because he was only a seed, nobody wanted to look at him.

因为他只是一粒种子，没有人愿意看他一眼。

So, the seed didn't think he was important.

所以，他认为自己很微不足道。

Then one sunny day, a wind brought him to a field.

一天，阳光明媚，一阵风把这粒种子带到了一片田野里。

He looked around and asked, "Where am I? Why is everything different?"

他环顾四周后问道：“我在哪儿?为什么周围的一切都不一样了?

Suddenly, it started to rain.

突然间下起了雨。

There were some changes inside of his body.

他的身体里开始有了一些变化。

Time flewby and years later, he saw a man sitting by his side.

时光飞逝，一转眼几年过去了。一天，他看见一个人坐在他身旁。

"Thank you for this. I really need some rest," he heard the man say.

“谢谢你。我真的需要休息，他听见那个人说。

"What are you talking about?"the seed asked.

“你在说什么呀?“这粒种子问。

He thought the man was making fun of him.

他想，那个人肯定是在跟他开玩笑。

No one spoke to him like that.

还从来没有人跟他说过这些。

"Who is speaking?" the man asked.

“是谁在说话?“那人问。

"I am. A seed."

“是我。一粒种子。”

"A seed?" the man looked at the big tree.

“种子?“那个人看着大树说，

"Are you joking?

“你在开玩笑吧?

You are not a seed.

你不是一粒种子。

You are a tree, a big tree!"

你是一棵树，一棵大树!

"Really?"

“真的吗?

"Yes! Why do you think people come here?

“是啊!你想为什么人们会到这里来?

Wow!

哇!

Everybody comes to me for my shade because am a big tree now!"

每个人都来我这里乘凉，因为我现在是一棵大树了!

eg:You're joking. Are you serious?
