暗喻（metaphor）：
是本体和喻体同时出现，它们之间在形式上是相合的关系，说甲（本体）是（喻词）乙（喻体）。喻词常由：是、就是、成了、成为、变成等表判断的词语来充当。暗喻又叫隐喻。

暗喻和明喻的区别：
明喻就是指将两个不同事物之间的相似点进行对比，用具体的、浅显的和熟知的事物去说明或描写抽象的、深奥的、生疏的事物，以获得生动形象、传神达意的修辞效果。明喻的构成有三个要素：本体（subject），喻体（reference）和喻词（simile marker）。它的基本表达方式：“甲像乙”。喻词通常有（like , as , seem , as if , compare… to…）下面就来举一些例子：
